Description
Thermal2 UNIT is a imaging acquisition unit that incorporates an MLX90640 thermal sensor and a data processing microcontroller unit (MCU). The thermal sensor has 32x24 imaging pixels, providing a detailed thermal image. It offers a wide field of view of 110°x75°, allowing for comprehensive temperature monitoring.
The MLX90640 thermal sensor has a temperature measurement range of -40°C to 300°C, enabling accurate temperature readings across a broad spectrum. The MCU, powered by the ESP32, handles data processing tasks, allowing for various temperature-related functionalities. The MCU's capabilities include high and low temperature alarms, which can be set to trigger notifications when predefined thresholds are exceeded. The unit also supports reading average, maximum, and minimum temperature values, providing comprehensive data analysis options.
